Call for Papers
The HUMAV conference has built up a reputation as a meeting point for managers and academics working on human resource problems in aviation. The third HUMAV will be a part of the conference of the ILA - Berlin Air Show on June 7, 2010. It is organized by the WIT - Wildau Institute of Technology in cooperation with Lufthansa Technical Training, BDLI - German Aerospace Industries Association and BBAA - Berlin Brandenburg Aerospace Alliance.
This year the focus will be on "Performance Measurement and Motivation" to discuss key items relevant for airlines, manufactures, airport, service providers and government institutions:
- how to build up, keep and lead a high-performance workforce in time of crisis and change,
- how to meet the challenges of low-cost competition in a safety sensitiv environment,
- how to close the gap between government and corporate management rules of engagement.
Experts from the aviation sector as well as human resource managers from other areas are invited to submit an abstract or paper for presentation in the conference workshop sessions, for example one of these topics:

Your paper may have a theoretical, methodological or empirical backround. Business case studies are welcome. Abstracts should contain a layout of the proposed paper of about 250 words; the final paper may have 12 to 20 pages. Presentations will be 20 minutes plus 10 minutes allowed for discussion. Please submit your abstract until April 9, 2010 with the relevant information on the front page:
